What a month for Derby Wedding Band ‘Dammit Jack’
Firstly ‘Badminton Horse Trials’ in early may to kick off the month..
Dammit Jack were super excited when they heard that they had booked to play at one of the most prstigious horse trial events in the UK, in the VIP tent no less!
The gigs spanned from Thursday to Saturday with early evening slots followed by an incredible DJ set.
“The weather was absolutely superb for all of the three gigs we played, it was really difficult to finish at 8pm and not join in with the parting for the first two gigs because spirits were so high however we needed to save ourselfves so we would last the whole event haha” – Jack Morritt
It was our first time working with ‘Gorilla Events’ and what a treat!
The team were so friendly. Elsbeth (Event Manager) and Dan (Director) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome” – Howard Morritt

And Then On To Germany…..
As if the three dates in Badminton weren’t enough for one month the band were then shipped off to Osnabruck, Germany for a further three days to play their favourite festival at ‘Mai Woche’.
‘Mai Woche’ or ‘May Week’ is a week long festival in the centre of the city of Osnabruck. It celebrates its relations with each of its twin cities during the festival and Dammit Jack have been representing their home town on ‘Derby Day’ for six years running now and each year gets better and better!
“The weather, the turnout, the acts and the amazing company that came along with us just made this year stand out to all of us in a big way. May have even been the best gig I’ve ever played” – George Morritt
All in all it has been a real month to remember… Next month Henley Regatta!!!
